Jim is a graduate of the Niagara College Social Service Worker Program and the Addiction Studies Program at McMaster University. Following graduation in l993, he began his career in the human services field as a counselor in a residential treatment program  specializing in assisting those who suffer from substance abuse problems. His career has continued for over 20 years.

Jim developed a keen understanding of the differing ways both genders see the world they live in. Some of that time included working with men and women as single and couples, whose lives and families had been ravaged by alcoholism and drug addition. He gained valuable knowledge from their stories and has been able to formulate a clear understanding of the needs of those who find it difficult to manage their lives in a way that promotes inner Peace, Happiness and a Passion for Living Life!

 He has recently re-released his book,  8 Keys to Living Your Life with Greater Passion, Peace and Happiness. The combination of education coupled with professional and personal experience makes Jim uniquely qualified to discuss solutions that will help promote the development of skills necessary to self-manage ourselves most effectively in today's fast paced world.
