Someone asked me the other day, "Dr. Evers just how can our subconscious minds change conditions? Isn't that rather complicated?" I would say because your subconscious mind is a part of the Universal Mind (God's Mind) and a part must be the same in kind and quality as the whole that the only difference is one of degree. The whole, as we know is creative and in fact it is the only creator there is, concequently we find that mind is craetive and as thought is the only acitivity which the mind possesses, then thought must necessarily be creative also.

It is important to remember and consider that there is a big difference between simply thinking and directing our thoughts consciously, systematically and constructively. When we do this we place our minds in harmony with the Universal Mind, we come in tune with the Infinite and we set into operaton the mightest force in existence, the creative power of the Universal Mind. This like everything else, is governed by natural law and this law is the Law of Attraction, which is that Mind is creative and will automatically correlate with its object and bring it into manifestation. The Law of Atttraction states that: "Like attracts like; more gathers more; what you think about you bring about; what you are seeking is seeking you; and much more. I also believe that the process of doing Affirmations works within the Law of Attraction.

Self-respect is very similar to self-esteem and is determined by how highly you regard yourself, how much faith you have in yourself and your sense of personal dignity and independence.

A healthy level of self-respect brings self-reliance, regard for oneself, and an awareness of who you are and how you feel about yourself. When you have self-respect you respect yourself and your abilities, you expect others to respect you accordingly. You do not allow others to run your life and you do not over-extend yourself or play the role of 'People-Pleaser.' You are able to say 'No' to the unreasonable or unwanted demands of others and to anything that is not in your best and highest interest.

Healthy, Divine, unselfish love and respect for self increases your self-esteem. When your self-esteem goes up, so does your popularity. What you think and how you feel about yourself is very important as it sets the mode for how others think and react to you.

It is never too late to heal your self-image. Begin today to see yourself in a different and more positive light and accept your perfect place in life. Become aware of who you already are. How can you expect others to respect you if you cannot respect yourself? You have the power within you to create your dreams, increase your income and improve your self-image and much more. Through the power of your subconscious mind you can develop a positive, mental attitude and attract that lasting relationship, successful career, business, money and more.

When you learn to love, respect and approve of yourself, just the way you are wonderful things happen in your life. Make a habit of forgiving, nurturing and loving self, and focusing on health, wealth and happiness. Your self-worth is much more important than your net-worth.

Step Process
One of my clients came to me with the following problem. He said he did not love himself, in fact he said he actually loathed himself. He said it was impossible to go from loathing himself to loving himself. I suggested he do the Step Process, I also suggested that he take his time with each step and to stay on that step until he really felt that way. He did and he was able to come to a place of self-love one step at a time.

Step 1 – I tolerate myself
Step 2 – I accept myself
Step 3 – I like myself
Step 4 - I respect and approve of myself
Step 5 – I love myself

I wish to thank every person who took the time to write a comment on my blog. I just this moment read them. And please keep them coming as they are very important to me.

I was just thinking about thought. I really love the information in the book 'Master Key,' and I quote ---"Mind in action is thought and thought is creative. Therefore, this is a creative age and the world is awarding its richest prizes to the thinkers.
Matter is powerless, passive, inert. Mind is force, energy, power. Mind shapes and controls matter. Every form which matter takes is but the expression of some pre-exsisting thought.

But thought works no magic transformations; it obeys natural laws; it sets in motion natural forces. it relases natural energies; it manifests in your conduct and actions and eventually upon the whole of your environment.

You can orginate thought, and, since thoughts are creative you can create for yourselves the things you desire."

To contine . . . . . And I believe how we do this is doing properly worded Master Affirmations, following the good book where it tells us to Ask and we shall Receive--I feel a Master Affirmation (setting out exactly what you desire) really is asking (putting your order in to be filled). You know the 'what' you want. I also believe God, Universal Mind or whomever you believe in knows the 'how.' That is why we should never be concerned about the 'modus operandi' the way it happens!

Really think about what you think about! And do some Thought Watching. Get a small notebook and put 3 columns -- 1. Same as Yesterday; 2. Negative; 3. Positive. Now become aware of your thoughts and put a check mark under the appropriate title. When I did this exercise I was totally amazed at how many negative thoughts that I had been entertaining and I thought I was a positive person!! Do this and you will soon see with great clarity just where your thoughts are residing and if you don't like the results you and only you have the power to change that by changing negative thoughts into positive, happy thoughts. Something to think about???
